Closures: The Municipal Office & Code Road Landfill will be closed on April 3rd for Good Friday and on April 6th for Easter Monday.
There are no changes to the schedule for curbside collection due to the holidays.
Tax Department: The second installment of the interim tax bill is due on Thursday April 30th.
Please ensure that your payment is received on time to avoid penalty charges.
Paying taxes from your computer or phone? Taxes can be paid with ONLINE BANKING by adding the Township as a payee and your roll number as the account number.
Tax Payments cannot be accepted by E-TRANSFER as they send the payment to an email address rather than directly to our banking system.
Reminder: Half Load Restrictions are Active.
Take notice that reduced load restrictions (five (5) tonnes per axle) are in force on all Township roads. The restriction will be removed when the likelihood of road damage has diminished.
2026 Municipal & School Board Elections - Monday, October 26th

Internet/Telephone Voting:
Internet/Telephone voting will be available from October 19, 2026 through to October 26, 2026. Eligible electors will be able to vote from a mobile device, computer, telephone, cell phone, tablet, or laptop.
Who Can Vote?
A person is entitled to vote in the 2026 Municipal & School Board Election if on Voting Day (Monday, October 26, 2026) they,
- reside in the local municipality, or is the owner or tenant of land in the local municipality, or the spouse of such owner or tenant;
- is a Canadian citizen;
- is at least 18 years old; and
- is not prohibited from voting under subsection 17(3) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 or otherwise, by law.
